1991
FROM THE HISTORIC LAW OFFICES
TO THE GREAT LAMBADARIOS LAW FIRM (LLF)

By the decade 1991-2001, the Lambadarios firm had assumed the form of a law partnership company, with partners John Filiotis and Maria Fronista.

‘Experts in Law: Fluent in Business’.

Lambadarios team earned the “Law Firm of the Year” award for 2021

For its outstanding performance throughout the year, the Lambadarios team earned the “Law Firm of the Year” award for 2021! In 2021, the Lambadarios firm won the “Law Firm of the Year” award and the “Transaction of the Year” award for its successful completion of the signed agreement  between Hellas Gold and the Greek State. The agreement, valued at €1.9 billion, is one of the largest direct foreign investments in Greece of the last 20 years.

PASSING ON THE KNOWLEDGE AND VALUES

A chief characteristic of the team, which constitutes the original core of today's partners, is the strong connection of its members and their shared values.

“We learned our values from the older generations, in practical and not theoretical terms, which is what happens in a family environment – children learn by example from their parents,” Constantinos says.

And he adds:

“We put them into practice naturally and intuitively. Respect for our clients and partners, integrity, and trust are uncompromising values.”

Grounded in the accumulated history of decades, with Constantinos now at the helm, a young team of attorneys was formed. Regardless of blood ties, the new generation was the spiritual child of the previous one. The way of connecting the generations was autonomy and the accountability of the younger members to the older ones. The growth of the new team that inherited the experience is due to these virtues.

The Lambadarios team, comprising Constantinos Lambadarios, George Panopoulos and Melina Katsimi, represented DEPA in the transaction that paved the way for the privatisation of DEPA Infrastructure and the creation of DEPA Commercial, transforming the natural gas market in Greece.

While growing exponentially as a firm, the great challenge is for it to remain consistent with the same values. Even when the torch is passed to the younger generation, the hope is for the new people to experience the firm’s culture as it is today. That means to say, to keep its humane approach and at the same time be adaptable to change.

“What we are building as a team is a firm with a strong brand name. That is, without necessarily having someone from the Lambadarios family as its head.”
